 
Youth Teams
The Youth Section is organised by Michael Britcliffe.
The club provides opportunities for young people to
receive cricket coaching between the ages of five and fifteen as well as the
opportunity to take part in competitions.
The club runs teams in the Peter Benson (Plywood)
Ribblesdale Youth League at under 9, under 11, under 13, under 15 and under 18
levels.
All coaching is conducted by qualified coaches who are
trained and have been screened for their suitability for working with young
people.
Wednesday night is practice night at the ground for our young
members from 6pm - 7:45
p.m. April – Sept. If
the weather dictates that the field is not suitable for training, a red flag
will indicate this.
Winter Indoor sessions are also run by the Club at Ribblesdale High School for all age
groups. This gives the coaches the opportunity to build on skills acquired during the
season and to prepare for the coming year.
Club training kit consists of a white shirt/white sweater
as minimum. Cricket equipment e.g. bat, balls etc and protective items
e.g. pads, gloves, abdominal supports, helmets etc are provided.
