Ribblesdale Wanderers Professional 2006

Joe Scuderi

Joe Scuderi is the Ribblesdale Wanderers professional cricket player for the 2006 season.  The Queenslander, an Italian international, holds Nelson's professional and amateur batting records and has made over 1000 runs a season on 8 occasions - a Lancashire League record.

The 26-year-old right-handed top-order batsman and right-arm fast medium bowler has spent the last two seasons in the amateur ranks at Seedhill but has decided to return to the paid ranks.  He was professional at Nelson for six years from 1991-96 and at neighbours Colne in 1998 and 1999, before two years at Old Trafford in 2002-3 as professional, before two years as an amateur.

Joe remains heavily involved at Nelson Cricket Club on the committee, the junior committee and coaching the Under 17s although he will still find time to coach at Ribblesdale.
