Receive an email each
time this site is updated! Welcome to the Ribblesdale Wanderers Cricket and Bowling Club web site. Here you can read all about the club, its history, the cricket and the crown green bowling. See fixture lists for the season and look back at previous seasons. The site has been running since the year 2000 so have a look at our photo archives over the last few years - under cricket or bowls on the menu on the left or for social photos look under club past events. You can even help to raise money for the club by shopping at our online web shop. It is supported by retailers including Amazon, Marks and Spencer, Comet, Oddbins, Cotton Traders, MFI, RAC, CIS, Lastminute's Travelselect, plus many more. You can buy CDs, DVDs and computer games, Books, Flights, Electricals, Wine, M&S full online range and Sports gear. You don't pay a penny more than in the shops and often there are online offers that aren't available in the high street. The club earn commission for every purchase you make so save the shop in your favourites and use it as a starting point each time you shop online. Another easy way to raise money for the club is by joining our Great Weather Lottery - for just £1 you have five chances to win each week and the odds are stacked much more in your favour than the National Lottery - use the link on the left to find out all about more. We have recently had a £10,000 winner at the club - next time it could be you!
Ribblesdale Wanderers Cricket and Bowling club is situated in the market town of Clitheroe in the heart of the Ribble Valley. The Church Meadow cricket ground enjoys Pendle Hill as its backdrop.
The large cricket field has plenty of seating for spectators and ample parking space. The floodlit bowling green is always well attended and also has lots of seating, both under cover and in the open air. Crown green bowling is played here all year round. The club, which has been recently renovated, has a friendly, family atmosphere. A light tea can be purchased during cricket matches. Members and non-members are welcome at the club to watch the cricket or bowling matches.
